Fashion Retail Academy

The Fashion Retail Academy, awarded Ofsted Outstanding, is a unique, employer led college. It was founded in 2005 as a unique private-public partnership with investment from the retail industry matched by the government. We offer a wide range of specialist fashion Diploma, Degree and Short courses for students of all ages with start dates throughout the year. Our courses are developed to provide students with a combination of an in-depth knowledge of Fashion Retail and hands on practical experience of the work environment. Most full-time courses provide a three week remote/blended* experience that assigns every student to an Industry Manager who will brief them on specific tasks. Our success lies in providing the fastest route to a career, simultaneously giving students vocational experience and support to find a job role on graduation.

We offer courses suitable for all ages, time-frames, budgets and levels. Full time Diploma courses run from one to two years. Our fast track courses are 2 days per week over 22 weeks and our apprenticeships provide work based learning. Short courses are ideal as an entry point or skills top-up and run from one to five days Our Accelerated Degree programmes are condensed over two years, to save a third of the time and less cost than a traditional degree, whilst providing industry and practical experience alongside. You will be supported by an Industry mentor throughout your degree. We work with over 140 brands to provide unrivalled access to Industry through masterclasses, live industry projects, workshops and other experiences to ensure our graduates meet the current recruitment needs of the industry. Our tutors are dual professionals; a combination of experienced teachers and industry experts, providing the student with the most current information and skills needed to work in the ever changing environment of Fashion Retail. Located in the heart of London, the FRA is just moments away from Oxford Street and Tottenham Court road and a number of national rail stations.
